Update Ver. 8.7

Booo! I’ve ORD for almost a month!

Finally got a job last week, 6 months contract staff with Starhub doing Corporate CRM… i guess it’s something to tide through… let’s hope they offer me a perm placing after this 6 months (they say it’s possible!) The pay is reasonable, the people are fairly nice, the environment is good, but the job is damn boring!!

In the meantime, i have start my foundation classes @ SAA-UOL for my degree in accounting & finance… maths and econs is so tough… the poa part is at least.. at this stage.. very very managable

I love my post-NS life

It’s Time Guys

In an hour’s time, I’m going to be at my Battalion manpower office, retriving my NRIC and the freedom i lost 2 years ago. This is both a fruitful yet wasted 2 years. Nonetheless, can’t forget the friends i made, things i had done & experience i gotten. Great memories i must say. Thank you BMTC 1, Thank you STC, Thank you 24SA….

Been very busy with my hobbies, pre-ord stuff and job finding (+lazy) to find time to update this place… but no it isn’t dead.. just yet…

Canon EOS 40D

I sold my 400D and gotten a 40D!!

The Canon EOS 40D is really a step up compared to the 400D! Faster maximum shutter speed, higher FPS, live view (not using, but good addition anyway), bigger view finder + coverage, bigger LCD, bigger size hence better grip. Damn! It’s fabulous! Previously the 400D was abit small for my big fat hand, but the 40D? Perfect Fit!

Did some testing!

Perhaps the single most important test when taking over a new camera/lens! Shoot against a blank white wall! This particular shoot was done at slow aperture (f/13) and post process in photoshop to increase brightness & contrast in order to expose any dust on the lens/sensor. Previously there was a speck of dust on the sensor at the lower right corner, but blew it away using a blower! Love clean white wall!

Cured!

I’m finally cured of chicken pox! now only left a few scab and it will be done completely!

It started on 27th April 09, Monday!

The pox starts to reach it’s peak on Friday. Oh my god… it was digusting washing my face and head with all the bumps and stuffs…. argh! It then begun to stablize on Sunday, and by Tuesday it’s getting better! Now i don’t even look like I got chicken Pox!! damn! this marks my 2wks of MC! A timely 1 though

and it’s 4 more bookouts to ORD!

Emo!

I got chicken pox for my sis… since monday.. damn! Anyway; so i was hooking up my old external HDD to my comp to watch some of the old movies i got… then i stumbled upon a “nearly forgotten” stash of videos. No not porn you prick. It was a compilation of graduation videos and random videos i took during my secondary and polytechnic school days… damn.. it’s freaking nostalgic! I really miss the good old days of yester-years. But it’s a pity that good time don’t last. Glad to live through it

• Just lazing around school after school-hours, chit-chatting and wasting time.
• The weekly choir training.
• The BBQs & chalets we had.
• Bluffing our D&T teacher that we are going to SLS to get some electronic parts but in actual fact we went to paradiz to play pool and LAN.
• The stupid and crazy things we did and got away with.
• Organizing those events that doesn’t benefit me
• Coding 
• BLK L Lvl 5
• LAN/DOTA when we should be doing our TEP/I.T Proj
• Soccer @ BLK L Lvl 6.
