Final interview at DHL this coming monday… really hope i can get the job… so long the pay is decent + 5 days work week… and of cox more impt.. they accept me.. SWEE!
and so i stayed on at starhub as my boss is understanding enough to let me take quite a big chunk of leave … but i do go back 2 or 3x a week to help out… revision progress is slow… i certainly hope to finish econs and banking by this weekend, probably start of next week latest… and maths & accounts … hope to start wrapping things up from mid next week right up to examination date on the week after next… stats… will put in minimal revision time… as i’m QUITE comfortable with it… can’t wait for exams to be over… so many things i’ve planned for the period bwt post examination till the start of next semester… (or start of new course if i flunk uol and decide to switch)

really busy with work and stress over studies… 1.5mths left and over the past month or so, hardly much info gets into my head. mock is probably all flunk. feel so dejected. Nonetheless, will try my very best for the coming exam. but if i flunk, probably quit this course and do another degree (shorter duration of cox)… cox if i continue, it’s gg to be 4 yrs studies… dun wan liao… take an easier short course and hopefully graduated within my timeline of 3yrs…

Read an article on what is the most disappointing event of your life. To be frank. Don’t really think I have. I don’t even feel true disappointment about not getting into local uni… maybe abit dejected… but i expect not to get into it anyway.. Come to think of it… the most disappointing and underwhelming experience of my life has probably got to be my 1st opportunity to withness a barrage of 155mm artillery shelling a hill in NZ… it’s like.. puffs of smoke .. hardly any flash or fire.. pure disappointment… LoL!

I was chatting with a friend about marriage and fatherhood in general… The multiplication of duties to your family and the force removal of personal liberty and free-time… It’s cruel, it’s very real. Just look at my dad, i don’t recall him gg out with his friends, less colleagues (which can’t really constiuite as friends… i define friends as outside a working/studying relationship) … nonetheless… i feel that, one should explore the world as much as he/she could, and do as much as he/she wants… before settling into mother/fatherhood… sounds straight forward, but i do know of people who regret that they didn’t spend as much time as they could doing the things they always wanted, but never had the chance to, due to the arrival of a baby, both planned and un-planned.
