EOY COSPLAY 2008

Went to EOY Cosplay 2008 @ EXPO yesterday! The whole thing started pretty bored… not alot of cosplayers and the performers are doing their dry runs, stores are setting up…. but that was about 11am + … at 1pm+ the cosplayers started pouring in!! WOW! The performance at the very end was excellent, look at this video from youtube! they are damn good! the performance was much better in real life!! I LOVE THIS! This is absolutely the best live cosplay performance i ever watch!

Gloomy Day

Wow.. gloomy day. literally. spent the entire day catching up on HK drama and this anime that i just started watching last night; Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann… after reading about how epic this anime is on forum and in justin’s words “fucking epic + will make anyone who watch this super confident”, i embark on this show and start streaming it off imeem.

I’m please to say; you guys are right!

Going back to camp in like 9hours time… damn… why do time in the civilian pass so quickly?

Endure though; 27 bookouts to go!

Anime Festival Asia 2008

Just came back from the convention over at suntec. Seriously, it’s more of figurines and selling, rather than anime showcase or cosplay. Guess i got to wait till EOY cosplay event in december to satisfy my shuttlebug flu! Anyway, enjoyed the event and below are some of the pictures i took this afternoon! Enjoy!

Shooting through the glass cabinet is such a pain! Got to position myself so that there is no reflection from the glass…. damn! should have bought the polarizer!

As one the first mechanical designers at Tatsunoko Production, Kunio Okawara designed mecha for titles such as Science Ninja Team and Gatchaman. After he became independent, he made his mark by doing the mechanical design for Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979, a show which caused a model kit boom in Japan and spark a new interest in mecha design.
